CMS Development

Your team needs to publish and change content without asking a developer each time.

The approach

How we work on it

  1. Decide which content must be editable and who may publish it.
  2. Choose between an established CMS and a custom admin based on the real editing needs.
  3. Add roles, drafts and review so mistakes do not go live.
  4. Protect the admin area and keep backups.

What you receive

Typical deliverables

  • Content model and editing roles
  • CMS or admin screens
  • Training notes for editors
  • Backup and update routine

What we will and will not promise

We recommend what fits the editing need. A custom admin adds maintenance, so we use an established CMS where it is enough.

How an engagement runs

Discover, propose, deliver, support

The same four stages apply to every Incipit practice, so you always know what has been agreed and what happens next.

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn the business need, the people who will use the result and the constraints, before any solution is proposed.

  2. 02

    Propose

Scope, milestones, responsibilities and ownership are agreed in a written proposal.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Work is built in milestones. You review working builds and approve each stage before the next begins.

  4. 04

    Support

Handover of code and documentation as agreed, with maintenance and support available afterwards.
