Where it began
Incipit publicly traces its beginning to 2013 in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, at the meeting point of human resources and information technology consulting. Technology projects need skilled people, and recruitment increasingly depends on technology.
2013 is the publicly stated date. An earlier company profile records 2014, so we treat the exact founding year as unresolved until it is confirmed against legal records.
How the work widened
- Recruitment and technical support, with software developer hiring visible in historical activity (2021–22).
- Online service requests, enquiry routing, career applications, an HR and payroll software initiative and structured website proposals (2024).
- Client website migration and managed care, including Shonee Kapoor and The Spiritual Bestie (2026).
- Working locations in Jhansi, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai, Delhi and Gurgaon, with remote delivery across India and abroad.
- A rebuilt public presence organised around six connected practices (October 2026).
Company history and engineering history
Incipit is the consultancy and commercial identity. Behind it is the software engineering of Aishwar C. Nigam, whose independent products and technical depth give Incipit a steady source of capability. The two overlap, but they are not the same thing, and this site says which is which.
